Who is Eligible for the CBSE 10th Compartment Exam 2025?

You are required to follow the guidelines given here in order to appear for the compartment exams:

• You will be placed in the compartmental category only if you fail in two out of five subjects of internal exams however you must get minimum pass marks in all internal assessments.
• To pass, you must obtain a grade higher than E or more than 33% marks in each subject of the external exams.

Central Board of Secondary Education will accept the application for compartment exam from private students through the official portal however the regular students are required to apply through their respective schools only. Private students can follow the simple procedure to fill out the CBSE Class 10 Compartment Exam Form 2025:

• Step 1: You will first have to visit the official CBSE online portal at cbseit.in/cbse/web/pvtform/
• Step 2: Now click on the option called “Application from Private Candidates”
• Step 3: Determine the type of exam. The options will be "Compartment," "Improvement," "Failure," or "Additional Subject."
• Step 4: Enter the Board examination number, including the five-digit "School Number" and the "Center Number," and select 10th grade.
• Step 5: Proceed with the payment of the examination fees.
• Step 6: Review the information entered into the form and then click the "Submit" button.

CBSE Class 10 Admit Card 2025 for supplementary exams will be issued in July 2025. The schools will download and distribute the admit cards among the regular students. While the private students will have to download their admit cards from CBSE's official website. Candidates must have their admit card with them at all times when taking the exams, or they will be disqualified. This year, Admit Cards contain the following information, Roll number, Date of Birth (only for class X), Name of Examination, Candidate's Name, Mother's Name, Father's/ Guardian's Name, Name of examination center, Category of CWSN, Admit Card ID, and Subjects in which appearing with the date of examination.

For regular students, the admit cards will be distributed through the respective school authorities however private students can follow the simple procedure given below to download the CBSE 10th Compartment Admit Card 2025:

• Step 2: Now click on the option called “Admit Card”

The CBSE Class 10 Compartment Result 2025 will be released online. By visiting the official website, you will be able to check the compartment result.
