HPBOSE 10th Grading System 2025 is set by the Himachal Pradesh Board. According to it, the board provides students with grades. For different ranges of marks, different grades are provided to students. The Himachal Pradesh Board of Secondary Education has adopted the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation system. According to this, students will be provided grades based on formative and summative assessments. The grades range from A1 to E2.
The students will be able to check their grades in the marksheet. After the release of the HPBOSE 10th Result 2025 , the board will provide the marksheet to students. May 15, 2025: The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has announced the Class 10 results today at 2:30 PM on the official website. Students who appeared for the exams can check their results on the official website, hpbose.org.

HPBOSE 10th Grading System Grace Marks 2025
Grace marks will also be provided for the students so that they can get a higher division if possible. Check the HPBoSE Grace Marks for Class 10 here:
- If the student is failing to achieve higher division due to some marks then he or she will be provided 1% of the total marks to improve the division as grace marks.
- If you have already got grace marking in any subject then you will not be eligible for this clause.

HPBOSE 10th Revaluation or Rechecking
Students unsatisfied with their HPBOSE Class 10th Result 2025 can apply for rechecking or revaluation. To do so, they need to fill out the revaluation form and pay the required fee online through the official website: hpbose.org .
The fee for rechecking is Rs 400 per subject, while the revaluation of an answer sheet costs Rs 500 per subject. However, only students who have secured at least 20% marks in the respective subject are eligible to apply for rechecking or revaluation.
HPBOSE 10th Supplementary Exam 2025
The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) conducts the HPBOSE 10th Compartment Exam 2025 for students who do not meet the passing criteria in the regular board exams. Candidates wishing to appear for the compartment exam must complete the registration process by the specified deadline to avoid any penalties.The registration must be done through the respective school authorities. A registration fee of Rs. 2000/- is required to complete the process. Students attending the compartment exam must carry their HPBOSE 10th Compartment Exam 2025 admit card to the examination hall. The HPBOSE 10th Compartment Result 2025 is expected to be released in August 2025 (tentative), and candidates can check their results online.

If a student scores 65 marks in a subject, the student will get B2 grade as per the HPBOSE 10th grading system 2025. This grade is provided to students scoring marks between 61 to 70.
Once the HPBOSE 10th result 2025 is declared, the Himachal Pradesh will provide grades to students according to the marks. In case students are unsatisfied with the marks scored by them, they can apply for revaluation, and if there is a significant increase or decrease in marks, the grades will be changed accordingly.
Among all the grades, D is the least grade required to get the pass status. It is provided to students scoring marks between 33 to 40. If students get E1 or E2 grades, they will get the fail status.
The students will be able to check the HPBOSE 10th grades for each subject through the marksheet. The original marksheet will include all the details related to the result. Besides marks, students will also get the details of grades through the marksheet.
The Himachal Pradesh board will provide the grades for total marks obtained in the subject. The board does not provide grades individually for the marks in theory or practical exams.
Students who have already got grace marks in any subject will not be eligible for this.
