The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) will release the NIOS Class 10 Exam dates 2024. The exams will take place in the month of April 2024. The board is likely to announce the datesheet in January 2024. The students will be provided with the admit cards in advance. The board exams for class 10th will be conducted between April and May 2024. It is expected that the practical exams will be conducted in the month of March 2024. About NIOS 10th 2024

The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), formerly National Open School, is an autonomous organization controlled and administered by the Indian Government. The board holds the NIOS Class 10th exam twice yearly, in March-April and October/November. The NIOS Class 10 exams 2024 for both cycles will be conducted in a single shift from 2:30 to 5:30 pm. The examinations are conducted at various exam centers in India and Overseas. The NIOS class 10 examinations are conducted for Block I in April and for Block II in October.

NIOS 10th Result 2024

The NIOS 10th result 2024 for the April session is expectetd to be released in June 2024. The students who appeared for the exam can check their NIOS results 10th class 2024 from the official website of NIOS, at results.nios.ac.in/ by providing their respective enrollment numbers. Students can also check their NIOS 10th class result 2024 for the April session through SMS and DigiLocker. Last year, the board released the result for the NIOS 10th April 2024 on June 25, 2023.

NIOS 10th Board Exam 2024: Date Sheet

The NIOS class 10th date sheet 2024 for March/April cycle is expected to be released in January 2024. The date sheet will be released on the official website of the board. NIOS 10th Eligibility Criteria 2024

Students must follow the minimum eligibility criteria in order to apply for the NIOS 10th exam 2024. The NIOS 10th eligibility criteria are mentioned below:

• The student who has passed class VIII and has valid proof of attaining 14 years of age can apply for registration to the Secondary Course.
• The student who has passed class X and has valid proof of attaining 16 years of age can apply for registration to the Secondary Course.

NIOS 10th Registration 2024

The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has already issued the NIOS 10th registration process schedule along with the payment details of the exam fee for the April 2024 exam cycle. For more information, students can visit the board's official website. The board every year conducts the NIOS 10th admissions twice a year for Block-I, which is held in April, and Block II, which is conducted in October. The dates of registration remain the same usually. Every year, the NIOS Class 10th Registration for Block I begins on March 16 and ends on September 15. The admission cycle for Block II generally commences the following day, that is, on September 16, which concludes on March 15.

NIOS 10th Admit Card 2024

The NIOS Board releases the NIOS 10th hall ticket for the exams in an online mode. After the release of the admit cards, students, by visiting the official website of the board, nios.ac.in, can download the NIOS class 10 admit card 2024. NIOS 10th admit card is a mandatory document that must be carried by all the appearing students to the examination hall. If anyone fails to do so, he/ she will not be allowed to enter the examination hall. You can download the admit card by following the procedure given below:

• Step 1: Visit the official website of NIOS: nios.ac.in
• Step 2: On the homepage, click on the Exams & Results open and a drop-down menu will open on your screen.
• Step 3: Now click on the Examination open and a few options will appear.
• Step 4: Click on the option called, “Theory Hall Ticket (Public Exam Oct/Nov 2024)
• Step 5: On the new page, enter Enrollment No. and then click submit to get the hall ticket. 

NIOS 10th Exam Pattern 

Group A and B subjects make up the NIOS 10th exam pattern. The NIOS exam is conducted for a total of three hours. The NIOS Class 10 exam is conducted for 100, i.e., each paper carries a maximum of 100 marks. Students can check the complete NIOS 10th exam pattern from the board's official website for a broader view. All the students must pass at least five subjects, including one or at most two language papers from Group A' and the other three to four subjects from Group B.' However, the students can opt for two additional subjects at the secondary level. Hence they can select at most seven subjects.

NIOS 10th Syllabus

Students appearing for the upcoming NIOS 10th exam must go through the latest syllabus to be aware of the marking scheme, typologies of the questions, and important topics. The NIOS 10th syllabus is the same for both public and on-demand exams. The NIOS 10th syllabus includes the subjects from 2 different groups - Group A and Group B. In Group A, the syllabus consists of language-based issues. At the same time, in Group B, there are other core subjects such as Mathematics, Science and Technology, Social Science, Economics, Business Studies, and so on. Students are advised to complete the syllabus two months before the commencement of the exam. After completing the syllabus, students must practice the sample and the previous year's question papers.

NIOS 10th Passing Criteria 2024

Students will have to score at least 33% marks to pass the NIOS 10th examinations 2024. The students need to score good marks in both theory and practicals separately to get an aggregate passing score.

For every academic session, NIOS releases sample papers and previous year's question papers for the students appearing for the board examinations so that they get an understanding of the typologies and difficulty level of questions asked. For the open school students, it is quite important to maintain a proper study plan due to the lack of regular classes. The preparation tips will help them perform well in the exam. Here are some tips to prepare for the NIOS 10th Exam 2024:

• First and foremost, make an effective study plan and follow it dedicatedly. Devote more time to the subjects you are weak in. A minimum of 7-8 hours must be allocated to study.
