West Bengal Madhyamik Grading System 2026 is set by the state board and is a seven-point grading system. Students are provided with the grades as per their performance. The grading system ranges from AA to D, where AA is the highest grade awarded to students with marks between 90 and 100. Students must obtain at least a grade of "C" to pass the Madhyamik exams. WB Madhyamik Division Scheme 2026
Students are required to acquire a minimum of 272 marks out of a total of 800 marks to pass the WBBSE 10th exam. Students will be awarded the first division if he/she obtain 480 marks or above. Whereas a student will be given a second division if he/she scores 360 or above.

Important Points Regarding Madhyamik Marks Division 2026
The WB 10th board exam will include an oral test in Mathematics in the second unit test. As per the West Bengal Madhyamik marking scheme 2026, the Mathematics paper (written) comprises objective questions (carrying 20 marks) and subjective questions (carrying 90 marks).

If a student fails in one subject, the board will provide an opportunity to register for Madhyamik supplementary exams and appear for their respective subjects. The board allows student to appear for a maximum of 2 subjects.
