West Bengal Madhaymik Grading System 2022

The West Bengal Madhyamik Grading System 2022 for Class 10th examinations is a seven-point grading system, with the highest grade as AA and the lowest being D. Students need to secure at least Grade 'C' in each compulsory subject as well as in aggregate, to Pass the Madhyamik Pariksha 2022. West Bengal Madhaymik Pariksha 2022 Marking scheme includes the following important points:

  • Oral in Mathematics would be taken in the 2nd Unit Test
  • The written examination in mathematics for Board Examination will be held on 90 marks including 20 marks in Mathematics-objectives. 
  • Oral in all second languages of 10 marks would be taken in the Board Examination.
  • The written examination in all second language for Board Examination will be held on 90 marks.
  • Optional elective subject will also be assessed by the Board but the marks or grades awarded for this subject will not affect the overall score.

West Bengal Madhaymik Pariksha 2022: Passing Criteria

There are a total of 8 Compulsary subjects in West Bengal Madhyamik Pariksha 2022. As per the West Bengal Madhyamik marking scheme 2022, students are required to obtain 272 out of 800 marks to pass the exam. In other words, Students need to secure 34% or Grade C as per the West Bengal Madhyamik/10th exam 2022 marking scheme to pass the class 10th exam.
