  • The Chemistry theoretical exam consists of 33 questions in total.
  • The Chemistry theoretical paper will be divided into four sections: Sections A, B, C, and D.
  • There are a total of 16 objective-type questions in Section A of the CBSE Class 12 Sample Papers for Chemistry. The first and second questions are based on passages and are worth four points each, whereas questions three through sixteen are for one point each.
  • There will be nine questions in Section B of the sample papers for Class 12 Chemistry. Every short answer question from number 17 to number 25 is worth two marks.
  • There are a total of 5 questions in Section C. This section's questions are all short answer questions worth three marks apiece.
  • Section D includes a total of 3 questions. Long answer questions carrying 5 marks each are questions 31 through 33.
  • In the Chemistry exam, there won't be a general choice, although some problems will let students make internal choices. For these internal choice questions, there will only be one question that the students must respond to.
  • Calculators and log tables cannot be used by students to solve the problems. If necessary, they can develop diagrams that are well-organized and clearly labelled.
