CBSE Class 12th History Chapter 10 - Rebels and Raj 1857 Revolt and its Representations is an important chapter of the History syllabus. In this chapter, you will learn how the events of 1857 are being interpreted, discuss how visual material can be used by historians to narrate events, understand the planning and execution of the plan, and highlight the united contribution made by the Indian soldiers. Part 3 of the syllabus includes 3 chapters beside Chapter 10 namely, Colonialism and The Countryside Exploring Official Archives, Mahatma Gandhi and the National Movement Civil Disobedience and Beyond, Framing of the Constitution The Beginning of a New Era. The entire part will carry 25 marks and along with this part, 2 other parts are included in the syllabus which also carry 25 marks making the total 75 marks, and the remaining 5 marks are awarded for the map-based questions.
