About JKBOSE 10th Board
Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education (JKBOSE) is considered the major education board in the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. It conducts the examinations for both the classes 10 and 12. The board is an autonomous body that runs under the administration of the government of Jammu and Kashmir, and is based in Jammu & Srinagar. The board conducts the exam for the Jammu & Kashmir divisions which are divided into soft and hard zone areas (that are the summer and winter zones). The examinations for the hard zone areas are scheduled to be held in April and May 2024, while those for soft zone areas are scheduled for March and April 2024. JKBOSE 10th Admit Card 2024
The Jammu and Kashmir board will release the JKBOSE class 10th admit card 2024 in February 2024. JKBOSE 10th Registration 2024
The board will release the JKBOSE 10th registration form online on its official website in November 2023. The candidates must fill up and sumbit the application form before the due date by paying the requisite fees. Candidates have to obtain the application form from their respective schools and need to fill out the JKBOSE 10th application form under the guidance of the school authorities.
JKBOSE 10th Syllabus 2024
The Board releases the JKBOSE class 10 syllabus on its official website for all subjects including English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science and Computer Science. Students can also apply for sixth additional subject, but they can not choose an additional subject. The exam duration is 3 hours. In the practical-based subjects, the theory part is of 70% marks. For the subjects that have no practicals, the maximum marks will be 100 marks.
JKBOSE 10th Exam Pattern 2024
The JKBOSE 10th exam pattern will help the students get well-versed with the typologies of the questions, marking scheme as well as difficulty level of the questions. The main subjects for JKBOSE class 10 exam include Hindi or Urdu, English, Mathematics, Social Science, and Science. As already mentioned, the total time allocated for each subject is 3 hours.
