CBSE Class 12th Geography Chapter 5 - Mineral And Energy Resources is an important chapter of the syllabus. This chapter will help you to know about the distribution of various minerals in the world, to understand and realize the importance of minerals in human life, and to create awareness about the nature of different minerals and how to sustain them for the future. Mineral And Energy Resources is included in the 3rd unit of the second book. Along with this chapter, some other chapters are also included in the unit namely: Land Resources and Agriculture, Water Resources, and Planning and Sustainable Development in Indian Context. All of these chapters will carry 10 marks combined in the board question paper. There are a total of two books included in the curriculum for Geography and each book will carry 35 marks.
