CBSE Class 12th Geography Chapter 5 Secondary Activities - CBSE Class 12th Geography Chapter 5 Secondary Activities introduces students to the Manufacturing. The students learn about the industries at different levels. They get a good understanding of the manufacturing, classification of manufacturing industries, industries based on inputs/raw material, industries based on product/output, difference between small scale industry and large scale industry, and more. Before going to appear for the CBSE Class 12 Geography exam on March 24, 2025, students should possess good knowledge of the syllabus. From chapter 5, they can cover up all the topics mentioned above. The students will find short and long questions from the topic. After completing the syllabus, students should regularly practice solving the sample papers. The students can refer to the CBSE Class 12 Geography Previous Year Question Papers regularly. This will help them to predict the types of questions and pattern of questions. In addition, students can also check the marks allocation. According to the marks, they can decide the length of the answers.
In the question paper, students can get questions about differentiating between primary and secondary activities; sugar and cotton textile industries. They can come across short questions about choosing the right pair or choosing the correct statement among the multiple options. There will be short questions for which students will have to write answers in 30 words. The long questions will have to be answered in 150 words.
Overall, in the Geography exam, students will have to answer 30 questions. The question paper will be divided into 5 parts. Section A will include multiple choice questions of 1 mark each. The students will have to attempt all 17 questions from this part. In section B, students will get 2 source-based questions of 3 marks each. The section C includes short answer type questions worth 3 marks each. The next section will include 5 questions of 5 marks each. In the last section, students will have to answer map-based 2 questions of 5 marks each.
