CBSE Class 12th Political Science Chapter 7 - Globalization will carry four marks in the question paper. The Political Science syllabus is divided into two parts by the Central Board of Secondary Education. The two parts of the syllabus are Part A: Contemporary World Politics and Part B: Politics in India since Independence. Each part of the syllabus will carry 40 marks, and the theory paper will be conducted for 80 marks. The remaining marks will be allotted for the internal assessment/project work. In Chapter 7, the following topics will be focused on: the Concept of globalization, causes and Consequences of globalization, India and globalization, Resistance to globalization, and India and resistance to globalization.
According to the new rules and regulations set by the Central Board of Secondary Education, the competency-based questions in Political Science will account for 50%. The question paper will consist of different types of questions. From the first book, 6 MCQ type questions will be included in the question paper, followed by three very short answer type questions, two short answer type questions, one Passage /Map / Cartoon based question, and two long answer type questions. The question paper will be in five parts (A, B, C, D, & E). There will be an internal choice in Part C (Short Answer Type II in one or two questions) and Part E.
The question paper will test the different learning abilities of the students based on the different types of questions. To prepare well for the exams, you must download the latest sample papers available on the official website of the Central Board of Secondary Education after completing your syllabus. Make sure to practice the previous years' question papers after completing your sample question papers to be confident during the board exams and perform your best. Do not forget to attempt all the questions according to the guidelines mentioned at the top of the question paper. Some internal choices will be included in the question paper however, overall choice will not be present.
